Here at RTB we are so excited to kick off a new year of crafting!
We encourage you to challenge yourself, raise your own level of crafting, and keep your resolution to use those new stamping items. And yes, we will even use those supplies that you just had to have in your collection. ;)

Challenge #3

Hello everyone and happy Friday to you!
First off, thank you so much for joining in our challenges. I am so happy to see Mr. Linky full of participants each week,we loved seeing all the RAK and gifted items everyone used in their cards!
Without further ado, congratulations to Caroline with this little cutie:

Not only did she use some RAK-d ribbon with her card, but she was sending it off to an elderly friend who is recovering from a fall in ICU. Thank you for this great card Caroline, and especially for reaching out to someone who will truly love this gesture.  Truly a gift that will keep on giving!

Now on to this week's challenge:
{aka Better with Age? lol!}

You know you have some papers that haven't been used in a looooong time! Remember that decorative paper stack that was a must have, only to sit in your stash? Now is the time to take it out and make it seen again!
Here are some great samples by the DT:

  7. This was a GREAT challenge! I had fun looking through all my old DP's. Trouble is I usually by the 12x12's and rarely use all of it, so I have tons of old ones. LOL

    All the DT cards are beautiful - the old papers too!

  8. WOW a lovely new challenge blog with some gorgeous DT cards.

    Enjoyed this challenge and it fitted in nicely with a few others, as I needed the old tired paper to complete my card.

  9. Great challenge. Don't know how old the paper is, but quite a few years that's for sure.
    And the pop-up technique I used also. ;-)

  10. I love these challenges that get us to use our stash! I dug into the blue drawer in my paper cabinet and found some papers from when I first starting making cards about three years ago!

  11. This is my first challenge with you and it was fun. My paper is so old that while I was working with it the lil' glitter stuff on the hearts started to flake off. LOL! Thank you for the fun!
